Qualifications:

1. Cadets must be between the ages of 14 and 17 and have a release form signed by a parent or guardian to be a member of the Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department Cadet Program.

2. Cadet applicants need not reside in Tippecanoe Township; however we only have a limited number of openings so those who live within our Township will be considered before others that live outside the township. 

3. Cadets will be expected to strictly adhere to all applicable TTVFD Rules and Regulations, as well as these rules and regulations. 

4. Cadets will be expected to attend a minimum of 50% of all Cadet / Fire Department training sessions within a calendar year. Should a Cadet miss more than 50% of the training sessions without an adequate excuse, they can be automatically dismissed from the program. All excuses must be signed by a legal guardian, and presented to the Cadet Advisor in charge of the program.
